I’m Mir — a media producer, traveller, and storyteller who believes destinations are more than backdrops. The culture, history, voices, and roots of a place are what make it unforgettable. My work blends travel filmmaking, documentary-style storytelling, and cinematic visuals to reveal the character of the people and places I feature.

I have lived, I have worked, I have succeeded and failed, I have done more than I ever expected to do and I'm still eager to keep going further. I have experienced heartache, loss and grief - both personally and for others, which has been something I wouldn't trade if I could - I have learned to notice the smaller moments in life a littler more intensely because of these experiences. Living all of these moments has brought me to where I am now.

Roots & Routes was born from a simple idea: when we understand a place more deeply, we value it more fully — and that leads to stronger tourism, richer connections, and better cultural preservation.

 

Having been travelling since 2008, I've explored 23 countries for both business and leisure. |I have travelled solo and in groups. I have experienced loneliness and the fullest heart one could have from adventures in a new country. I've worked in many industries as well - all of which have lead to the collection of skills I've gained and am now bringing here to Roots n Routes Media.
