Hi!

 

I’m Mir - a media producer, traveller, and storyteller who believes destinations are more than backdrops. The culture, history, voices, and roots of a place are what make it unforgettable. My work blends travel filmmaking, documentary-style storytelling, and cinematic visuals to reveal the character of the people and places I feature.

I have lived, worked, succeeded, failed, and I have done more than I ever expected to do and I'm eager to keep going further. I have experienced heartache, loss and grief - both personally and for others, which has been something I wouldn't trade if I could - and have learned to have more appreciation for the smaller moments in life because of my experiences. Living all of these moments has brought me to where I am now.

Roots n Routes was born from a simple idea: when we understand a place more deeply, we value it more fully - this leads to stronger tourism, richer connections, and better cultural preservation.

 

Since I began travelling in 2008, I have explored 23 countries for both business and leisure. I have travelled solo and in groups. I have experienced loneliness and the fullest heart one could have from adventures in a new country. I've worked in many industries as well - all of which have lead to the collection of skills I have gained and am now bringing to Roots n Routes Media.
