ROOTS n ROUTES MEDIA

CINEMATIC STORYTELLING for PLACES with SOUL.

I create documentary & travel-style media that helps destinations, tourism boards, and local businesses inspire travellers to explore deeper, stay longer, and care more.

But in saying that... I also create media that brings me joy and allows me to share bits and pieces of my life with friends and family who aren't able to travel and explore with me. I create media that I can look back on and remember the times I was able to climb mountains, swim in the sea and jump into whatever I could get my hands on.

Below you'll find a collection of video footage showcasing the adventures of Roots n Routes

Co. Donegal, Ireland

I have since learned the name of this place is Assurance Waterfall. And I caught her on a quiet day when she was flowing softly.

Co. Sligo, Ireland

A new favourite swimming spot of mine, somewhat known - but mostly hidden.

With a sunset sauna set up at the top.

Co. Sligo, Ireland

We were lucky enough to be a part of a biodiversity course put on by the Donegal Bay Trust and shared our views.

A series where I create short videos for my grandmother, who's unable to travel anymore. A fun way to share my adventures with her and keep her updated on my daily happenings.

Donegal Bay, Ireland

A perfect summer day on Donegal Bay with Kiwi Girl Mullaghmore, looking for whatever we can find!

Malin Beg, Co. Donegal

A stunning day and a stunning beach almost all to myself to take my first dip in the Irish Sea at the start of my stay here.

Doonee Forest, Co. Sligo

A roadside pullout gave way to a small forest walk along side a calm quiet lake in County Sligo.

A small sample of some of our adventures in recent days.

Glen Elgin Vineyard, Jordan Station

Autumn in Canada is beautiful, come walk the path through the orchards and woods to get to the vineyard in the valley below.

Benbulben, Co. Sligo

A misty day climbing the mesa mountaintop to the peak of Benbulben along the Wild Atlantic Way of Ireland.

UK & Ireland

If there's a place for me to put my shoes down and jump into the waters, you best believe I'll be doing so. It's my happy place.

Hazelwood Forest, Co. Sligo

Not only is there an island of the fairies here, they're said to live in the woods - the ravens in the treetops and sunset on the lake edge.. come see for yourself.

Loch Trool, Scotland

Bruce's Stone sat upon a lookout over Loch Trool, past grassy meadows within the woods, rushing waterfalls and sunlight streaming through the trees.

Lake District, England

A scenic walk through the forest to explore the underground cave system aptly named Cathedral Cave. Dramatic space blooming out of the depts of the hillside.

Dunraven Bay, Wales

Come walk along the coastal path in Wales, stunning scenery, seaside sounds and soft skies.
